Democratic Women of Burke County

Join us for Women in Leadership, a fun in-person event celebrating women rocking the leadership world!

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM, the Democratic Women of Burke County invite you to something special. Join your community at 310 S Sterling Street in Morganton for Women in Leadership — a free afternoon dedicated to celebrating the women who are shaping our future.

Hear from two remarkable speakers who are putting in the work where it counts most: ➡️LaKesha Womack, Keynote Speaker and NC-14 Congressional Candidate, has built her career on the belief that your vote matters — and she'll bring that energy and conviction straight to this stage. ➡️Justice Anita Earls of the NC Supreme Court closes the program with the wisdom and passion of someone who has dedicated her life to the pursuit of justice for all North Carolinians.

This is more than an event — it's a reminder that change happens when women lead, communities listen, and people show up. Come hear their stories, connect with your neighbors, and leave feeling energized about what's possible.

Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome. Don't miss it.
